We are back!

Our trip to Mexico was amazing and we enjoyed every minute of it! Now back to reality and the cold weather :)

Not much of an update on the adoption front. The good news is, our agency confirmed again with the Russian Government this week that they are planning to schedule our first trip to Russia in February but the bad news is no firm dates yet. We will just sit tight and see. I'm feeling good that it will happen in February since they have been telling us that for over a month now and it hasn't changed but of course I would feel even better if we got that travel invitation with firm dates so we could apply for our travel visa. Keep your fingers crossed that we get the call soon!

The Last Hurrah! :-)

Bright and early at 5am on Tuesday morning, we will be leaving for our last trip as a couple for many years :) We'll be in Mexico until the 23rd to attend a friend's wedding. We are looking forward to relaxing with some cocktails on the beach because this will probably be the last quiet vacation for a long time!

Our adoption agency still thinks we will be getting a match around the very end of January so we will be looking forward to coming home to some good news. If it does happen then we will probably travel on trip #1 to Russia sometime in February and then bring our little one home late spring/early summer. How exciting! We will keep you all posted when we get back.
